This is how I like to spend my time when not playing with Mopar toys. Emigrant Wilderness 2022.



What I do



I collect Mopar literature and promo models. Over the years, I have picked up many duplicate literature items, hence I have available for trade most Mopar sales literature from the mid 1950's to the early 1970's, all original. This includes:

  • sales brochures
  • factory postcards
  • NOS owner's manuals
  • factory matchbooks


In addition to sales literature, my personal collection includes:

  • data books and color and trim selectors
  • press kits
  • promo models
  • factory matchbooks
  • Other Mopar promotional items

In Memoriam



Moparlit is dedicated to Mopar fan #1 and all around nice guy Raul Romero. Raul was my best Mopar buddy by far.


Raul got his first Mopar when he was in high school, in 1977. It was a Curious Yellow '71 Roadrunner with a 3spd. Really cool car. Then he got his coolest car ever- for $1100 in 1978 he bought a B5 '71 Roadrunner. Standard interior and bench seat, manual drum brakes, BUT it had a 4spd. and an air grabber. It was super clean and unmolested. I'd kill to have that car today. Unfortunately he sold it to a surfer in southern CA during the gas crunch in 1979, and the car was never to be seen again. Other sweet Mopars came and went. He had a really nice N-code '71 Charger SE with a factory 4spd, and a super clean '70 Challenger R/T.


Raul worked for the USPS delivering mail, and by the 90's he was pretty much priced out of the Mopar hobby, but he never lost his love for all things Mopar. He died way too young in 2004.


If I make it to heaven, the first place I'll seek out is the nearest Chrysler-Plymouth dealer. That's where I hope to find my friend Raul- probably wrenching on Mopars in the service department, or helping a grandma spec-out a new Valiant in the showroom.
